I had lost the key to my condo and needed another cut soon.I borrowed my girlfriend's key. We knew there was a Minute Key machine in a Canadian Tire store. I followed the easy to understand directions paid for 2 keys and received a 3rd one free.
Tried this today for the first time and would recommend! Good price, super easy to do and convenient as well since the kiosk was in Walmart. I got 3 keys made for the workplace and they all work perfectly. You do need to hold your key in place while the machine clamps down and then it lets you know when you can release so maybe that's why some people were having issues with their new keys not working...
Keys were cut perfect, no issues. Was easy to use. Only downfall was the selection was super lame I just ended up going with plain keys to get the 3 for $10 deal.
Cutting keys is very easy. Directions were very easy to follow, and I especially appreciated the message to remove my original key after my new key was cut. I would have forgotten and left it in the machine.
