I can't actually rate their services because their hours made it impossible for me to use their services. 9-5 M-F and no update on google saying it was closed New Year's. Not cool.
I've had to make keys for me on a few occasions. For my chevy , they showed me how to program the key myself. Remind me Nissan, they had to program it, but they did the second key for free.Because i've been a previous customer
They do not have the ability to cut laser keys for most cars.Because the blades are too thin for their equipment. They also do not have the ability to program keys by VIN. They can only program the keys if the car is there. No help. Wasted trip.
Could not put my lock back together after they took it apart. Good place to just make a copy of a key but not to make on by decoding it.
Edit: I had the chance to have them copy a car key for me and they were fast, polite, and affordable. I have adjusted my score.I think the people who work for Midwest Lock are very polite and want to help. But they couldn't help me.It has been nearly a year since I attempted to have a tumbler lock put on my patio. They came out and tried but couldn't. They were going to "think about it and get back to you." I stopped in a few times and did a few follow ups. Everyone was very polite. But my patio door is incapable of having a tumbler lock installed because it's, special I guess.I'm sure they are great with regular locks and such, but I can't recommend them for patio door locks.
