I have been going to Fred's for decades. They are always helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have the service you need. They are honest and will comprehensively explain what you need. I just went there today. I thought I was going to pay a bunch of money. The technician got me out the door with far more than I anticipated for a lot less. Someone described them as "Old School!" It fits. I would very much recommend them!
I truly appreciate Fred’s key Shop. I have been several places trying to get my husband’s key fob program for his truck. Everyone else wanted to charge me a arm in a leg being that the key was already cut. Fred only charged me 60 bucks. Great job thank you guys truly appreciate it.
Called earlier today around 2 my mechanic recommended this place for a new key fob. The First Gentleman I talked to had good energy we figured everything out pricing and I told him I would call him back within the hour because he told me to call back before 4 if I wanted someone to come out. I called back around 2:50 and got a different person on the phone who was rude to say the least and he told me my problem sounded like an electrical issue and that I should ironically talk to a mechanic. He was so rude like it was that time of the month so I had to disconnect with him. I called back and got the original guy that I talked to and he said Jeff would be here in between 5:30 and 6pm and it’s 8:04pm I have class in Belleville tomorrow and I have heard nothing. This place is unprofessional and rude and they don’t deserve any business from this city whatsoever. This is after I sent my title and license to the number they provided so I also feel uncomfortable with my information being out there with them….Rude, Sketchy and Unreliable*update*Called 24/7 lock smith and got a better price and my issue solved they reprogram for 100 and new keys with the buttons for 150
After 4 other stops to hardware, auto parts, and dealership, Freds was able to cut, add/program fobs, AND REMOVE MyKey programming. I wish i had gone to Fred’s first. It would’ve saved me alot of money, gas, and stress! The best service! Quick and affordable! Im an extremely happy customer!
This is the only place I will ever go I was referred by another key shop that spoke highly of them because he couldn’t do the type of key I had and I walked in and they had all the key types invented now I’m locked in ?? for ever.
