1 ) This business BOUGHT Martel & Fils 's business name. It's not the same business or people operating it. 2 ) The person tried a crook tech using semantics in order to try selling me a 300$ complete lockset as I came in for a simple lock barrel exchage-replacement. 3 ) Person asked twice the current market price for replacement arguing he would throw away my perfectly functionnal lock. He kept both keys I handled him which proves he was in fact going to keep the lock for another customer as it it the custom. 4 ) Person asked 25 $ per keys ( I needed 5 125$ ). Those keys are nothing special ; everybody else ask 5 $ for the same service. Lost my time.
Although the rate of 135$ might seem high, I am extremely pleased with the professional work done on a broken/stuck latch on one of my doors. Resolved the problem quickly, when you are not able to resolve by yourself, call in the professionals.
