Just another company who quotes one thing, gets business then tries to blindside you with insane costs. Looks like they have a habit of doing this to other business more than consumer. Which is just bad business.
Honestly complete cheat of company. Call them to change out 2 locks, 3 blocks from their office. Tech is onsite maybe 45 minutes total, comes to me with a bill for $350 dollar. For 2 re-keys. He starts talking about how the old handle was broke, this trim was broke, blah blah. I didn't hire them to remodel I hired them to rekey two locks.He did all this and charged without prior approval, and when I say something the tech gets attitude, talking about if we don't wanna pay he can just pull all the stuff out and leave us with doors that don't lock. Just another example of companies nick and diming people to make a buck rather than running honest business. Call the business and they tell me, "tech do the bills as they see fit"
Have used Klein Brothers twice and they have been great! They installed a couple locks, as well as rekeyed and duplicated keys. They are always nice and helpful and offer good advice with service!
DROVE my car there to get a new key fob. Ordered a new one from them, and 3 days later, I DROVE it back for them to program the new key fob. They did something wrong with the electrical system. Now my car has NO power. They told me that I would need to have it towed to the dealership and have them fix it. Waste of time and $$$.
I've used Klein Brothers multiple times to rekey deadbolts at their location on Broadway. They do a great job, quickly, and are friendly. While browsing their small lock-focused inventory, I found a "shed lock" I needed to replace but wasn't looking for -- so I killed two flies with one swat! Thanks!!
