The Lock Shop at Power & Southern in Mesa is outstanding. They reprogrammed a key for my 2008 Toyota Prius using an older 2006 key — something with a pretty low chance of success — yet they made it look effortless.This small, family-run business is exactly how a business should operate: friendly, efficient, extremely knowledgeable, and very fairly priced. They clearly know their craft inside and out, from modern digital door locks to massive safes.They respected my time, explained what they were doing, and delivered results that exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.
They were professional, and showed up when they said they would. I was under the impression that the safe mfg was contacted already, little surprised when on the day of the apt the mfg was still being contacted about the combo. But the process went down smoothly. Would recommend.
What got me in the door? The reviews. All the positive reviews about this company are obviously very well earned.Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable, especially Taylor, who answered all my questions via text after I explained what happened. Once I got there, another young gentleman helped me and he seemed just as knowledgeable and just as friendly. I would highly recommend!
So they were fast, friendly, and effective. But they charged me $165 to pick a lock that took them 3 minutes. That seems exorbitant to me. My bad for not getting a quote beforehand, but still that's more than I pay my doctor, dentist, mechanic, etc.
Just wanted to add to the chorus of glowing reviews. I really appreciated how easy it was to book an appointment quickly via chat and text on The LOCK Shop's website, and once Steve came out he quickly diagnosed the issue with my misaligned/damaged door latch, had a replacement in within minutes, performed a thorough service of my deadbolt and realigned it quickly, and all throughout he was personable and knowledgeable. If I ever need any locksmithing services I'll only ever go here!
