Called the number the Autozone guy gave me around 4pm or so. Skylar picked up and told me he couldn’t make it out till 6-7pm. He finally made it out around 8pm. He worked quickly and got me a new key in under a half hour.The issue I have is with the price. I understand maybe it was “after hours” or whatever, but the original inquiry was 4pm or so. Just because the service didn’t start till 8pm doesn’t feel like an “after hours” service to me. $486 for everything but for only ONE key?? And when I asked for a second key he said it would cost $729 total??? Something about that pricing didn’t make any sense to me and honestly felt a little bit like a scam. At that point it would’ve been cheaper to tow my key to the dealership and have them make me a key but it was too late for that I’m sure he doesn’t make those prices out of thin air, maybe it comes from the company itself, but honestly $486 was bad enough for one key that took a half hour to finish. $729 for two keys is highway robbery. Would only recommend him for the speedy service but I will probably go with someone else in the future.
Our son lost the only car key we had to our 2001 Honda Accord on New Year's Day. I called the company and was able to get an appointment for Jan. 2nd at 7 pm. Devin was our technician and he was extremely knowledgeable! Devin was on time for the appointment, and gave us all necessary information and answered all of the questions we had. We got a quote the day I set up the apt ($185). However we had to pay an extra $45 to get our key code so the price was under $250. Devin was up front with pricing before doing any work. The reason the total of our quote went up was not because of Devin, it was because we did not have the code for our key and had to pay to get that code. Devin allowed me to take a picture of the code, so, if this happens in the future I don't have to pay an extra forty five dollars for the code again. We now have our car with a new key back on the road!! Devin was super professional, kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and very efficient. I don't feel like we were overcharged on anything. Even though the quote that was given to us was lower than what we paid, I believe that the pricing is very fair and it is so convenient that they come to you. Devin works the tri state area 24/7, and they do a lot of different services. I was so pleased to have my car key made, programmed, and have our car started within 45 minutes of Devin showing up. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for any kind of vehicle locksmith, lockouts or any type of lock issue in general. Thank you so much Devin! You're a life saver! The key also comes with a 6 month warranty!
