He left right away and arrived in great time. He successfully opened my car - in a torrential downpour - and I actually made it to my event on time. We had an issue with our key fob not working due to a dead vehicle battery, and needed a locksmith pronto. The bedroom door latch broke with the door in the closed position at our 82-year-old house (no idea how old the latch is).After removing the handle and trying everything I could think of to get the latch to work, I watched some YouTube videos of professional locksmiths struggling with this challenge, I called Jack at ABC Lock and Safe because he was listed on Google maps as being closest to my house.It turned out to be a tricky fix, but he stayed with it, finally drilling the latch into oblivion to save the door.He replaced a latch that worked with the existing doorknob.Jack is amiable, professional, and quick to move onto the next solution instead of sticking to a solution that's not working.Total time from phone call to fixed door was a little over four hours. Charge: $90 for visit. $75 labor. $15 part. Total $180.
