Christopher was great at helping us figure out why the front door of The Woman’s Club of Raleigh would not lock. He didn’t just look at the locking mechanism but at the entire door and fixed it with a simple shim. This has been an ongoing issue and other locksmiths had looked at the lock, but Christopher looked at the problem.
Love coming here. Always able to copy any key for me. Fast and fair priced. I always refer anyone looking to copy a key that they can’t get done at a usual hardware store.
Non-compliant and unethical company. This company assisted my landlord in an illegal lockout / wrongful eviction. A wrongful eviction is an eviction carried out without a formal court order or legal authorization. I have a 4K security system with audio, and my landlord conveyed information to the locksmith that should have immediately triggered termination of service.I called the company to offer them the opportunity to resolve this matter amicably, and the manager was combative and rude. She stated, "Our company is not liable for any actions conducted on behalf of a client who is the owner of a home." This company did not perform the necessary due diligence to establish proper authorization for the lockout. I plan to take them to court for their actions in the near future. The manager should know that a locksmith company can be held accountable for assisting in a wrongful eviction and for failing to terminate service when information is conveyed that directly implies the lockout isn't legal.Would not recommend this company due to their noncompliance, unethical practices, and combative staff.Update:Thank you, Busse's, for your response. Your response confirmed that you performed a job despite knowledge of a family dispute and without a valid court order. The owner of the property is not and has never been a tenant of the property. Thank you for publicly confirming that your company performs services without proper documentation / clearance. Your response has been documented for the upcoming court proceedings. Best of luck.
Thank God for Busse's. I'm a Raleigh native and I'm grateful Busse's Locksmith still runs brick and mortar stores. I needed an unusual key copy be made that Lowes, Home Depot, nor any kiosk machine could handle. It just so happens that I was searching on November 11th, which is Veterans Day. Busse's didn't come up in my search because I was searching for "locksmiths open now." Every call I made to a Locksmith service sent me to a call center, and who knows where they were actually working. I understand why individual locksmiths use a generalized call center. But I just needed a key copied. I didn't want to set up a service call or appointment.I needed a brick and mortar Locksmith.Luckily, a friend I'll call Capt. Obvious replied to a post I made concerning my need and reminded me of Busse's. And bless them for honoring our Veterans for being closed on November 11th.I stopped by Busse's just now and got what I needed done in less than 5 minutes for much less cost than I had anticipated.Long Live Busse's Lock Service!
Highly Recommend Busse's Lock Service! ?????Having been turned away by Key Harbor for custom key cutting because they said all my keys were steel and not brass, I found Busse's Lock Service to be a lifesaver. Unlike Key Harbor, Busse's demonstrated excellent knowledge about key materials. In under 10 minutes, they expertly cut all five keys, confirming the keys were all brass. The service was not only fast but also cost-effective at around $2 per key copy. No issues, no hassle—just efficient, knowledgeable, and affordable service. Busse's Lock Service is now my go-to locksmith. Highly recommended! ???
